About Beerdome
Beerdome is a webshop that specializes in really good craft beers. With us, you won’t find beers that you can also buy in your local supermarket. The desire to start Beerdome stems from our passion for specialty beer. We want to introduce as many people as possible to really good specialty beer. We ensure that exclusive beers become accessible to all enthusiasts!
How much are the shipping costs?
Your package is shipped within the Netherlands and Belgium with PostNL. For other countries, we may use DPD or DHL. Below you will find the fixed shipping costs. If your order doesn’t fit in one shipping box, we will pay for the shipping of the additional boxes.

Are the items in my shopping cart reserved for me?
No, the beers in your shopping cart are not reserved. Only after you have filled in your details and clicked ‘buy’, the beers are reserved for you. It may therefore happen that an item disappears from your shopping cart while shopping, because someone else has bought and paid for that same beer at that moment.
Can I add a personal message to my order?
Yes, that is possible. After filling in your personal details, you can indicate at the ‘comment’ field which text you would like to add. We will then ensure that your message is added to the package.
Can I modify my order?
After placing an order, it is no longer possible to modify it.
What can I do if I have provided an incorrect shipping address?
Contact us as soon as possible via support@beerdome.nl. If your order has already been shipped, we unfortunately can no longer change your address. The carrier will eventually return your package to us. After we have received your package back, we can resend it. You will then pay the standard shipping costs per country (again), even if you have placed an order of more than €75.00 in the Netherlands or more than €100.00 in Belgium.
How are Beerdome’s prices structured?
All prices include VAT plus any deposit on cans, which is listed as additional costs.
What about deposit on cans?
From April 1, 2023, a deposit on cans is charged. You can recognize a deposit can by the deposit logo. You can return the empty cans at your local supermarket (or gas station, for example). You will also see this on the invoice as additional costs.
How can I pay for my order?
You can easily pay for your order via iDEAL, Klarna, SOFORT, Apple Pay, PayPal, Bancontact, VISA, Mastercard, KBC/CBC, Maestro and Przelewy24. Should you have problems with processing the payment, log in to your account by clicking on My Account. Go to your order based on your invoice number and click on Pay Now. If you want to update or adjust the payment method, you can also do so via your account.
Who will deliver my order?
Our packages are handled by PostNL, or by DPD or DHL in some countries. Outside the Netherlands and Belgium, PostNL has various partners.
Can I pick up my order?
Would you prefer to pick up your beers in Grootegast? That’s possible! At checkout, you can choose Pick up in Grootegast. As soon as your order is ready for you, you will receive an email. You can pick up the order on Monday to Friday between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
When can I expect my package?
If you place and pay for an order before 4 PM on working days, it will be shipped the same day. In most cases, you can enjoy your delicious beers the next day. We ship our packages via PostNL, but in some countries via DPD or DHL. You can decide where and when to have your beers delivered during checkout. You can also choose delivery to a pick-up point. You will receive a Track & Trace as soon as your package has been shipped.
We do not ship orders on the following national holidays:

The carriers also do not deliver packages on those days. If there is a national holiday in the country of delivery, the delivery
of your package may take a little longer.
How are my beers packaged?
All beers are carefully packaged and shipped in reinforced boxes with compartments. This means you can expect to receive the beers undamaged. We use different sizes of boxes, so there is always a suitable box for your order. Should something go wrong with your order, we naturally want to resolve this with you. You can contact us via support@beerdome.nl if you are dealing with an incomplete delivery, an incorrectly delivered beer or a damaged product. If you have received a damaged product, make sure you send us photos of both the beer and the shipping packaging. Please note: contact us within one week of receiving your package.
Can I drink the beers immediately after receiving them?
It is advisable to let your beers ‘rest’ for at least two hours after receipt before opening them. This allows the yeast to settle to the bottom of your bottle or can and your beer can also reach the right temperature during that time.
How do I store the beers?
We recommend storing all IPAs, Pale Ales and sour ales in a refrigerator. Some beers are so full of hops or fruit that they may continue to ferment in the can if stored too warm. In any case, it greatly benefits the taste! Dark beers are best stored at cellar temperature.
How long does it usually take to receive my order?
For deliveries in the Netherlands and Belgium, the following generally applies: did you order before 4:00 PM? Then you will receive the order the next day (with
the exception of holidays). See also the schedule below:
Ordered Monday before 4:00 PM? Delivered Tuesday.
Ordered Tuesday before 4:00 PM? Delivered Wednesday.
Ordered Wednesday before 4:00 PM? Delivered Thursday.
Ordered Thursday before 4:00 PM? Delivered Friday.
Ordered Friday before 4:00 PM? Delivered Saturday.
We do not ship orders on Saturday and Sunday. The next delivery moment is then Tuesday.
Please note: due to unforeseen circumstances, the delivery of your package may be delayed.
My package has not been delivered yet, what now?
Check your Track & Trace, which you received from us by email. Has the status not changed for four working days? Then contact us via support@beerdome.nl. We will then contact the carrier. Do you want the package delivered outside the Netherlands and has the status of your Track & Trace not changed for two weeks? Then contact us via support@beerdome.nl. We will then contact PostNL. An investigation will subsequently be started by our carrier and/or the local carrier. An investigation takes an average of two weeks.
When will I receive the invoice for my order?
You will receive an email from us immediately after your order, containing an order confirmation and an invoice.
Can I return my order?
You have the right to return your package and cancel the agreement, during a period of 14 days after purchase. It is not necessary to provide a reason. The products must not be used or worn. The costs for returning the package are for you. Are you not satisfied and want to return something? Then send an email to support@beerdome.nl. You will then receive a confirmation email with
instructions for returning. If the return shipment has been checked by us and is found to be in good condition, you will receive the purchase amount back.
What happens if my package is not picked up or is refused?
1. Not picked up at the parcel point
If an order is not picked up on time at the chosen parcel point and is automatically returned to us: The purchase amount is refunded, minus processing costs of €6.99.
Do you still want to receive the package? Contact us via support@beerdome.nl. We can resend the package after payment of the reshipping costs.
2. Refused at the door
If you refuse an order at the door and the package is automatically sent back. In this case too, processing costs of €6.99 are deducted from the amount to be refunded.
The remaining purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days of receipt of the return shipment.
Does Beerdome have a minimum order value?
The minimum order value is €15 (before entering any discount code, loyalty points or a voucher).
Is there a minimum age to order from Beerdome?
To order from Beerdome, you must be at least 18 years old. When the carrier delivers your package, your age is checked. If the age verification fails because you are not at home at that moment or because your age could not be verified, the delivery person will take the package back. Your package is then taken to a delivery point near you, where you can pick up the package within 1 week with a valid identification document.
Does Beerdome mention allergies for the offered products?
Yes, we do our utmost to mention ingredients that you may be allergic to, such as lactose or nuts, as much as possible on the website in the description of a beer, cider or mead. In doubt? Please feel free to contact us via support@beerdome.nl. Do you have an allergy? Then also look carefully at the label of your product before drinking it.
